Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or engaging our services. By accessing www.albamedhealth.com or contacting us to arrange dental treatment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Us

Alba Med Health is operated by Alba Med Health, registered at Tirana, Albania ("we", "us", "our").

We are a dental tourism coordination service. We connect international patients with partner dental clinics in Tirana, Albania. We do not own or operate those clinics, and we are not a healthcare provider. Treatment is provided by our partner clinics, who are independent licensed dental practices.

2. Our Services

Alba Med Health provides the following coordination services:

  • Free initial consultation and written treatment plan based on information you provide
  • Coordination with our partner dental clinics in Tirana on your behalf
  • Assistance arranging airport transfers and hotel accommodation
  • Communication support before, during and after your treatment
  • Aftercare support via WhatsApp following your return home

We do not provide, and are not responsible for, clinical dental treatment. All treatment decisions are made by qualified dental professionals at our partner clinics. Our role is coordination and concierge services only.

3. Treatment Plans and Quotes

3.1 All treatment plans and price quotes are based on information and images you provide (including dental X-rays and photographs). The accuracy of your quote depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.

3.2 Quotes are fixed in writing before treatment begins. We do not add charges on arrival provided your clinical situation matches the information provided during consultation.

3.3 If, upon clinical examination at the partner clinic, your treatment requirements differ materially from those described in consultation, the treating clinician may revise the treatment plan. Any changes will be communicated and agreed with you before proceeding.

3.4 We reserve the right to decline to coordinate treatment for any patient at our discretion.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 A deposit is required to confirm your treatment dates. The deposit amount will be specified in your written treatment plan.

4.2 The typical payment structure is 50% of the treatment cost on arrival and 50% on completion of treatment. This will be confirmed in writing before you travel.

4.3 We accept payment by cash, credit and debit card, and bank transfer. We accept EUR, GBP, USD and Albanian Lek (ALL).

4.4 Deposits are non-refundable except in the circumstances set out in Section 5 (Cancellations).

4.5 Prices are quoted in Euros (EUR). Equivalent amounts in other currencies are indicative only and subject to exchange rate fluctuation.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule your treatment, please notify us as soon as possible via WhatsApp.

5.2 Cancellations made more than 14 days before your scheduled treatment date: deposit may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.

5.3 Cancellations made within 14 days of your scheduled treatment date: deposit is forfeited.

5.4 If we or our partner clinic must cancel your treatment for reasons within our control, we will offer you a full refund of any deposit paid or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

5.5 We are not responsible for costs you incur in connection with travel, accommodation or other arrangements made independently of our coordination services.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

6.1 Our partner clinics provide a written warranty on all clinical work performed. The specific terms of any warranty will be set out in your treatment documentation.

6.2 In the event of a clinical complication covered by the warranty, any remedial surgery will be performed at no additional surgical fee.

6.3 Warranties do not cover damage resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions, trauma, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

6.4 Alba Med Health coordinates warranty claims with our partner clinics but is not itself the warrantor of clinical treatment.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Alba Med Health is a coordination service. We are not a healthcare provider and are not liable for the clinical outcomes of treatment performed by our partner clinics.

7.2 Our partner clinics are independent licensed dental practices and are responsible for their own clinical standards and outcomes.

7.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alba Med Health's total liability to you in connection with our coordination services shall not exceed the total fees paid to us (excluding clinic treatment costs).

7.4 We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or costs of alternative treatment.

7.5 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your dental and medical history
  • Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by the treating clinician
  • Attend all scheduled appointments during your stay
  • Notify us promptly of any complications or concerns following your return home
  • Not hold Alba Med Health liable for outcomes that result from inaccurate information you have provided

9. Travel and Accommodation

9.1 You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own flights and travel to Tirana.

9.2 Where we assist with hotel bookings, we act as an intermediary only. The hotel contract is between you and the hotel. We are not liable for the quality of accommodation or any issues arising from your hotel stay.

9.3 Airport transfers arranged by us are provided by third-party providers. We are not liable for delays, cancellations or incidents during transfers.

9.4 Travel and medical insurance is your responsibility. We strongly recommend you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes cover for medical treatment abroad before travelling.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on www.albamedhealth.com, including text, images, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Alba Med Health. You may not reproduce, copy or distribute any content from our website without our prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at www.albamedhealth.com/privacy-policy/. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

12. Complaints

We take all complaints seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our coordination services, please contact us in the first instance:

We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 business days and to resolve them within 14 days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may have the right to pursue alternative dispute resolution or legal remedies in accordance with Section 13.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Albania. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tirana, Albania.

Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available at www.albamedhealth.com/terms/. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
